Welcome to Hearth & Pines, a spacious 4-bedroom, 2.5-bath home in the Quechee Lakes community, set up as a practical home base for ski groups and families. This two-story Vermont colonial sits on just under an acre and offers plenty of room to spread out, with multiple gathering areas, smart TVs, a record player with a large vinyl collection, a DVD system with lots of DVDs, shelves of books for guests who like to read, and a large raised deck and front porch that look out over the surrounding forest.

On the main level, you’ll find two connected living rooms. The first has cozy seating around the fireplace and is set up for listening to the record player or playing chess by the fire. The second has a comfortable couch positioned for watching DVDs or streaming your favorite shows on the smart TV. The adjoining dining area and fully equipped kitchen make it easy to cook and eat at home, and a hallway half bath on this floor is convenient for daytime use. Hearth & Pines includes a mix of modern and analog entertainment. Guests can log into their own apps on the smart TVs, listen to records from the vinyl collection, choose a movie from the extensive DVD library, or pick up a book from the shelves throughout the house. For guests working remotely, Hearth & Pines offers two work-from-home spaces. The primary bedroom includes a desk and chair with natural light from three windows, and there is a dedicated office on the main level across from the kitchen with its own desk and chair, giving guests two separate spots suitable for calls and computer work.

Upstairs, four bedrooms provide flexible sleeping arrangements, including a mix of twin, full, and queen beds. The primary bedroom has a queen bed, three windows for natural light, its own desk and chair for work, and an ensuite bathroom with a standing shower and a jetted tub. Bedroom 1 has two twin beds, books, and a few musical instruments. Bedroom 2 has a single twin bed and a large padded rocking chair, creating a quiet corner for reading or relaxing. Bedroom 3 has a full bed and a large window, offering a simple, comfortable space to unpack and rest. The remaining bedrooms share a hallway bathroom.

Hearth & Pines is a convenient base for year-round Upper Valley activities. In winter, you’re close to skiing and other snow sports; in the warmer months, you have easy access to hiking, golf, and local shops and restaurants.
